CNAP is an Atlanta-based placement service for CNAs
that is devoted entirely to matching professional Certified Nursing Assistants with clients who require home care. Our service is unique because we find the most qualified CNAs who meet our strict guidelines, and the CNA then works for the client as an independent contractor — with no extra fees from us.
We charge a one-time fee for matching the CNA with the client, and the client determines payment terms and timelines that match their requirements. We do not mark up the hourly rate you pay the home care provider, so you are not paying an ongoing markup for the CNA you have chosen.
Our goal is to reduce the stress involved in finding and matching the right CNA for your specific situation. We carefully choose individuals who meet our goal of matching the right CNA with the right client.
CNAP founder Nicole Sinclair has 20+ years of experience as a CNA,
providing excellent home care and placing hundreds of qualified CNAs in clients’ homes. She has a network of professionals and clients she has worked with and understands what CNAs desire as well as client expectations. In her years of experience, among the biggest client concerns is the fact that the amount they pay and the amount the CNA actually receives is not commensurate with the quality of care they receive — largely due to agency markup.
The CNA, on the receiving end, has the same concern. The pay they receive is not commensurate with the level of services provided. CNAPs business advisor has 40 years of experience starting and managing small and large businesses, and years of compliance with federal, state and local laws and requirements. CNAP is licensed and insured, and we are registered with the State of Georgia and the Federal government.
All of our CNAs have to meet the following requirements:
- At least three years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- At least three professional references
- Full background check including; driving record, social security verification, criminal, proof of citizenship or green card and sexual offender registry check.
- Valid Georgia driver’s license
- Currently licensed with the State of Georgia as a Certified Nursing Assistant
HOW WE WORK
What should a client expect from CNAP?
We will come to your home for an extensive interview and questionnaire to help us understand what your expectations are for a CNA. The person coming into your home very likely will become an extended part of the family. The relationship developed is the most important part of our matching the right people. We will provide the names and resumes of at least three professional CNA’s from our list of candidates for you to interview. After you interview and choose a candidate we will provide an independent contractor agreement for both parties to sign.
If you wish to employ the CNA, we can provide the paperwork required to meet all government regulations. You and the CNA will agree on a mutual starting date and you will have three weeks to decide if this is the right “fit” for your circumstances. If you decide the person is not what was expected during this trial period, we will provide another qualified CNA at no additional charge. We will provide you suggested compensation rates, vacation schedules and other necessary items for a successful relationship. We will also provide temporary replacement CNA’s for vacations and time off at a reasonable hourly rate.
